Trip to Virginia
We just returned from our vacation to Virginia to see my parents... We spent the 4th of July at my grandmother's in Wytheville, Va- We were able to pick apples, cherries, and grapes as well as see about 15 deer, groundhogs, a fox, and tons of wildlife. Then, we went to my parent's for Madison's 7th Bday.
We were also able to go to Lake Witten in Tazewell, Va for smores, fireworks, and fishing. The kids LOVED all the animals (chickens, goats, dogs, cats). In fact, we were able to see baby chickens hatch!!! Madison named her chicken, Frank and Christian named his "Boo-Boo chicken" (from Mickey Mouse clubhouse)... They spent every day outside playing and even got to catch fireflies. Christian was terrified at first, but was brave enough to hold the jar by the end of it!
We ended the week at a water park in Jonesbourough, TN... It was extremely small, but still fun for the kids!!
